About Karl Rothstein
Karl Rothstein is a Holocaust survivor who was born in 1932 in Austria. He and his family were ordered to appear at the train station in January of 1939, destined for a concentration camp – but boarded another train instead, headed for Switzerland. Supported by the Swiss Jewish community, Karl’s family lived for several years in hiding in Switzerland until they were granted amnesty. Read more
